- Efficiency minimums: 18 SEER2, 11.5 EER2 and 8.5 HSPF2.
- Low-temperature performance: A heating COP of at least 1.75 at 5°F, listed on ashp.neep.org.
- Heating capacity: Capacity at 5°F of at least 70% of the rated capacity at 47°F.
- Who qualifies: Xcel customers with gas or electric service; both are not required.

What Affects Installation Cost
Daikin mini-split pricing depends on several factors. Homes more than 60 minutes from Denver add travel time. Units installed above the first floor may cost more depending on ladder access, and line sets of 15 feet or more between indoor and outdoor units add cost, as do electrical upgrades. Material costs have risen in recent years, so prices are subject to change and the final cost is set only after a site visit.
Financing is available through Wisetack.

Frequently asked questions
-
How cold can these heat pumps operate?
The cold-climate units we install are rated to operate down to -13°F and to deliver full heating capacity at 0°F.
-
Where do you offer free in-person estimates?
Within 60 minutes of central Denver. Free in-person estimates are not offered in Evergreen, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Loveland, Nederland or the mountain towns.
-
What are SEER, EER and HSPF?
SEER measures cooling efficiency over a season, EER measures it at a fixed condition, and HSPF measures heating efficiency over a season. Higher numbers mean greater efficiency.
