Trane Axiom water source heat pumps (WSHPs) deliver heating and cooling across a 0.5 to 25 ton range and are used in schools, office buildings, healthcare and rehabilitation facilities, condominiums and retirement communities. Trane rates select systems at up to 40 EER.

Trane WSHP Configurations
- Console: ½ to 1½ tons; installed within the occupied space in a ductless application.
- Vertical stack: ¾ to 3 tons; designed for multi-story buildings.
- Rooftop: 3 to 25 tons; configured for outdoor installation.
- Water-to-water: 5 to 20 tons; supplies hot or chilled water for radiant systems, air handlers or service water.
- Efficiency tiers: High-efficiency, standard-efficiency and variable-speed models.
